Find out how crop insurance is unique and how it can work for you
Take the first step to insuring your livelihood
The vast majority of crop insurance in America is operated under the Federal Crop Insurance Program. As a part of this program, the Federal Government subsidizes a range of policies known collectively as Multi-Peril Crop Insurance (MPCI). These policies vary, but most provide coverage for losses on nearly all crops due to any significant natural disaster. Some cover yield loss, some revenue loss, some market-driven loss, and some a combination of these. Learn More About MPCI Plans.
Private crop insurance, which is loss specific, is also available to farmers. These policies are not a part of the Federal Crop Insurance Program, however, so they are not subsidized by the government. We offer both Crop-Hail Insurance and Production Hail Insurance.
